about

We use our different events to give varying people interested in the sports business a platform to take part in an intergenerational exchange. The Impulse Network organizes the Impulse Summit or this year the Impulse Week as our main events. We also have workshops with some of our partners, where we visit their headquarters and develop solutions for emerging problems together. In our industry projects we consult companies over a longer period of time to develop and create ideas and solutions. Finally, for our fellow students at the University of St. Gallen we offer events on campus such as the annual foosball tournament.

workshops

On September 4th 2019, we visited the headquarters of our Summit Partner Ochsner Sport in Zurich and worked together in a workshop to develop solutions for measuring success in national sponsoring. This was the kick-off of a long-lasting partnership. Many workshops to come!

On May 16th 2019, we invited several students to Schöffel's headquarters to learn more about their marketing strategy and market entry in China. In an interactive workshop, they obtained profound insights into real-world challenges that the company faces and had the chance to pitch their own ideas to company executives during a business case study.

We traveled to Munich to do a workshop with Alan Sternberg on a fan miles case with the FC Bayern Munich.

industry projects

We are currently working on 'The Collective Think Tank' project alongside 9 other international universities with Wasserman. The Collective is focused on women in sports and its goal is doing research on different characteristics of women and sports including female fandom, consumption and purchasing power, and representation of women in the sports business.

Over three months 6 students of the University of St. Gallen have conducted a consulting project with FC Bayern Munich. The goal was to create and develop an end-to-end travel platform for the german football club.

campus events

We do not just want to generally give people interested in the sports industry a platform for exchange, but we are also committed to especially providing this platform to the students from our own university in St. Gallen. That is why we organize events such as our annual Foosball tournament where we can discuss sports, play some foosball and have fun together.
